Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data 9Sixteen Apparel collects, what we use it for, who else handles it, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

Order details
Your name and email, delivery and billing addresses, an optional phone number, and the items ordered.
Payment data
PayPal processes it; complete card numbers are neither visible to nor kept by us.
Correspondence
Text and attachments you send, by email or by our form.
Technical data
Gathered automatically while you browse: cookie identifiers, IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you open.

Purposes

Order details are used to produce, ship and support your purchase and to send status messages. We also use data to reply to you, prevent fraud, secure the website and understand how pages are used. Marketing email goes only to people who opted in, and every message contains an unsubscribe link.

Recipients

To make and deliver the item, our print partner and the carrier are given who it is for, where it goes and what is in the order. Further vendors run payments, hosting, transactional email and analytics for us and are limited to using the data for that work. We do not sell personal information, and no one pays us for it.

Cookies

The cart and checkout depend on necessary cookies. Separate analytics and ad cookies measure page popularity, referral sources and campaign results. Refusing or clearing cookies is possible from browser settings; checkout simply stops working without the necessary ones.

Security and retention

Every page of the site loads over HTTPS. Order records can be opened only by people on our team whose tasks require it. Data stays only while orders, claims, tax filing and legal obligations call for it; after that it is erased or de-identified.

Your options

To unsubscribe from marketing or to ask what we hold about you, email [email protected]. The store is meant for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Rights under U.S. state privacy laws

Residents of many U.S. states now hold legal rights over the personal data a business keeps. The list varies by state, and may cover:

  • Access: see the data on file for you and get a copy.
  • Correction: have inaccurate details fixed.
  • Deletion: have your data erased, except records we are legally required to keep, such as tax records.
  • Opt-out: decline targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your data. In certain states, ad cookies are themselves considered sharing or targeted advertising.

Making a request. Write to [email protected], put “Privacy request” as the subject, and name the right you want to use. We confirm your identity by matching the details you give, such as an earlier order number and the email used for it, against our records. An agent you have authorized in writing may submit a request for you. Our answer arrives inside the period set by your state’s law, and using these rights never affects what you pay or how you are served.

Appeals. Unhappy with the outcome? Answer our decision email and we will look again, then write back with the final result. Your state attorney general accepts complaints if the matter is still unresolved.
