Shipping Policy

9Sixteen Apparel makes each order once it is paid for and sends it out tracked. The numbers behind every delivery estimate are collected here: production, transit, rates, carriers and customs.

How a delivery estimate is built

An estimate is two intervals added together: first production, then transit.

Production
Our print partner prints, inspects and packs the item, starting the day payment clears.
Transit
Measured by the carrier: the first scan opens it and arrival at your door closes it.
Business days
Only weekdays count; a Saturday, a Sunday or a U.S. federal holiday adds nothing.
Daily cutoff
11:00 AM Pacific Time. An order received after that time is counted from the following business day.

The table

One table covers every product in the store.

All other countries2–4 business days12–22 business days14–26 business days$15.00 for one item; each extra item adds $6.00

In words: production runs 2–4 business days; transit then runs 4–8 business days within the United States and 12–22 business days to all other countries. Each product page converts this into a dated delivery window. These are estimates rather than guarantees, and holiday peaks or severe weather can push carriers back by a few days.

Rates

We charge shipping by the item:

  • U.S. addresses: $6.99 for one item; each extra item adds $3.00.
  • Addresses outside the U.S.: $15.00 for one item; each extra item adds $6.00.

Your cart shows the exact shipping amount before you are asked to pay.

Carriers and tracking

Domestic orders travel with USPS, UPS or FedEx, chosen by item and destination. International orders travel with DHL, UPS, USPS or another international carrier, which often passes the parcel to the national postal service for final delivery. As soon as the parcel is handed over, we email its tracking number. The Track Order page and the carrier’s website both show the scans. A new number can take 24–48 hours to show its first movement.

Customs for orders abroad

Orders to addresses outside the United States are shipped DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid). Prices and shipping rates exclude any import duty, VAT or customs fee your country charges; the recipient settles those at delivery. A country missing from the checkout menu is one we do not currently serve.

Before you place the order

Address accuracy
Whatever address you type at checkout is where the parcel goes. Spot a mistake? Email us inside the 6-hour window. A parcel returned to sender because the address was wrong or incomplete can be re-sent once a fresh shipping charge is paid.
Military and box addresses
Only some of our carriers reach APO, FPO or P.O. Box destinations. Email the address before ordering and we will tell you if it can be served.
Split shipments
One order can be split across facilities; expect each part to travel alone, with a tracking code of its own, possibly arriving days apart.
Stalled or missing parcels
If tracking stops moving, or says delivered and nothing is there, contact us within 30 days after the last date of your delivery estimate; what follows is described in the Return & Refunds Policy.
